Pamela Anderson Says Sitting Near Seth Rogen at Golden Globes Made Her Feel “Yucky”
Pamela Anderson is opening up about an uncomfortable moment she experienced at the Golden Globe Awards, saying she felt “yucky” after being seated close to actor and producer Seth Rogen.
In a recent interview with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM, Anderson said seeing Rogen at the ceremony stirred up lingering emotions tied to the Hulu series “Pam & Tommy.” Rogen served as an executive producer on the show, which dramatized the theft and leak of a private videotape involving Anderson and her former husband, Tommy Lee — a period she has described as deeply traumatic.
Anderson said she was frustrated that the series was created without her involvement or consent. She questioned how such a painful moment in her life could be turned into entertainment while she is still very much alive and affected by it. According to Anderson, being seated near Rogen during the awards ceremony made those feelings resurface.
She told Cohen that after presenting an award, she chose to leave the Golden Globes early and go home instead of staying for the rest of the event. While she didn’t approach Rogen directly, she said she expressed her feelings internally and believed he may have sensed her discomfort.
Anderson also acknowledged that projects like “Pam & Tommy” were financially successful for others, which she said made the situation feel even more unsettling. The series earned multiple Emmy nominations and wins, something Anderson has previously criticized given the subject matter.
Despite the experience, Anderson says she is focused on her recent career resurgence. She earned a Golden Globe nomination for her role in Gia Coppola’s film “The Last Showgirl” and described her current success as the best form of payback — being recognized for her work rather than for moments she says were exploited in the past.
