Coachella Hosting Free Community Clean-Up Day This Saturday

The City of Coachella is giving residents a chance to clear out hard-to-dispose items this weekend with a free community clean-up event.

The Winter Community Clean-Up Day runs Saturday, January 24 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bagdouma Park Boxing Club parking lot. Residents can drop off used tires, bulky equipment, old appliances, furniture, electronic waste and yard waste at no cost. The event also includes paper shredding services.

One note for anyone bringing tires: rims must be removed before drop-off.
