An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Wednesday, January 21, 2026!
A Dense Fog Advisory has been posted through 9a this morning for areas of Western Southern California. Visibility is down to a 1/4 of a mile in Western Riverside County, much of Orange County, and a large part of San Diego County.
The Coachella Valley will be under lots of clouds today with high temperatures in the lower-70s.
As a closed-low approaches the coastline, SoCal will begin to see widely scattered light showers between late-Thursday into early-Saturday. The Valley will experience plenty of clouds, but without any measurable precipitation... a sprinkle, maybe.
Valley high temperatures will peak in the lower-70s today and tomorrow followed by upper-60s on Friday.
Saturday will begin with clouds then end with clearing skies. That's when our midday temps return to the lower-70s.
