Community Members to Protest ICE Activity at Indio City Hall

Community members plan to protest Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity tonight, Wednesday, at Indio City Hall. The demonstration is being coordinated by Coachella Valley Women’s March and CODEPINK Coachella Valley.

Protesters will gather at 4 p.m. at the intersection of 45th Avenue and Jackson Street in Indio before marching to Indio City Hall. The march is scheduled to arrive ahead of the City Council meeting at 5 p.m., where organizers are encouraging residents to submit public comments opposing an increased ICE presence in the city.
