Coachella Valley Vendor Fair Returns in April, Connecting Local Businesses with Government Contracts

Local business owners looking to work with government agencies will have a chance to make those connections in April at the third annual Coachella Valley Local Government Vendor Fair.

The City of Palm Springs is hosting the event on Wednesday, April 15, at the Palm Springs Convention Center from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Registration is free but required ahead of time.

The fair brings together representatives from more than a dozen local governments and agencies, including the cities of Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Indio, La Quinta, Cathedral City, Coachella, Desert Hot Springs, Rancho Mirage, and Indian Wells, along with the Coachella Valley Association of Governments and Riverside County's Office of Economic Development. Attendees can learn how to navigate the process of securing public agency contracts.

According to organizers, the event is geared toward businesses in fields like general contracting, landscaping, plumbing, painting, web development, technology consulting, graphic design, and marketing. A prize raffle will also be held during the event.
