SunLine Transit Agency Hosts Community Clothing Drive to Support Desert Best Friend’s Closet

SunLine Transit Agency, in partnership with NBC Palm Springs, is hosting a community clothing drive on Thursday, January 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., to benefit Desert Best Friend’s Closet, a local nonprofit serving individuals across the Coachella Valley.

Desert Best Friend’s Closet provides free job interview attire, prom dresses, and other professional clothing to individuals in need, helping build confidence, promote employment readiness, and support participation in important life events.

Community members are encouraged to donate new or gently used professional and semi-formal clothing. Donations can be dropped off at the SunDial paratransit vehicle parked in front of SunLine’s administration building, located at 32-505 Harry Oliver Trail in Thousand Palms.

The clothing drive is open to the public, and all donated items will go directly toward supporting individuals seeking employment opportunities and special occasion attire throughout the Coachella Valley.
