Southwest Arts Festival Returns to Empire Polo Club This Weekend

The Southwest Arts Festival is back at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, running Friday through Sunday with more than 150 artists showcasing traditional, contemporary, and abstract works.

The annual juried festival, put on by the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Indio Chamber of Commerce, features fine art, jewelry, pottery, glass, and crafts. Live music is also on the schedule this year

Hours run 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with an earlier 2 p.m. close on Sunday. Tickets cover all three days—$30 general admission at the gate, $25 for seniors 55 and older. Buying online ahead of time saves a couple dollars: $28.52 general, $25.31 senior (fees included). Kids 12 and under get in free, and parking is included.
