Palm Springs Restaurant Heyday Draws Crowds with Smash Burger and Martini Deal

If you’re craving a delicious meal and a cocktail at a deep discount, Heyday in downtown Palm Springs may be your new go-to spot.

Owner Brad Ryle says the idea behind Heyday was simple: nostalgic, comforting food that feels like the perfect Fourth of July barbecue — the kind you wish you were having. What started as a pop-up just a few years ago has since grown into a full brick-and-mortar restaurant in the heart of downtown.

One of the standout menu items has quickly become a customer favorite: a smash burger paired with an ice-cold martini. Diners say it’s a combination that’s hard to beat.

“What other place can you get a simple, excellent martini and a burger?” one customer said. “What’s not to love?”

The surprising part for many is the price. Ryle says people are often shocked because a martini alone at other restaurants can cost just as much as Heyday’s full combo.

“The reason why we’re able to do this is because the local community supports us,” Ryle explained. “If we stay busy, we can keep offering things like this.”

And good news for fans of the deal — Brad says the affordable burger-and-martini pairing is here to stay, as he and his team continue serving what many locals now call the best value in the Valley.
