Hashtag Holiday Calendar Pop Quiz Celebrates National Kazoo Day, International LEGO Day, and Pop Art

It was time once again for the Hashtag Holiday Calendar Pop Quiz, brought to you by Inland Empire Health Plan — offering a fun break in the newscast while testing everyone’s trivia skills.

Wednesday, January 28, 2026 marks National Kazoo Day, a celebration of one of the easiest instruments to play. If you can hum, you can kazoo — and yes, a few made an appearance in the studio.

The day also doubles as International LEGO Day, honoring the date the patent was submitted for the iconic plastic brick. It’s a perfect excuse to build something creative or plan a trip to LEGOLAND in Southern California.

National Pop Art Day rounded out today’s celebrations, recognizing the bold and colorful art movement made famous in the mid-20th century. That inspired today’s trivia questions.

First up: Andy Warhol’s most recognizable artwork features paintings of Campbell’s Soup cans — a cornerstone of pop art and advertising culture.

The second question spotlighted English pop artist Sir Peter Blake, who designed the iconic album cover for The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, along with other notable music artwork.

Between kazoos, pop art, and classic albums, today’s Pop Quiz delivered a mix of creativity and nostalgia — and maybe even inspired a few impromptu concerts.
