Jerry's SoCal Weather Briefing on Thursday, January 29, 2026!

Sunshine returns to the Coachella Valley today along with low relative humidity and warmer midday high temperatures around 80°. You can expect more of the same for your Friday afternoon.

Those warmer-than-normal numbers continue into the weekend under lots of sunshine both days.

A weak disturbance off of the San Diego coast will guide bands of middle and high-level clouds over Southern California on Monday. Although the Southland remains rain-free, Valley midday temps will back-off into the upper-70s that afternoon.

The Valley returns to the 80s by the middle of next week.
