Bret Baier Headlines Desert Town Hall in Indian Wells

The Desert Town Hall Speaker Series, presented by the H.N. & Frances C. Berger Foundation, continued last night in Indian Wells, welcoming Bret Baier for an evening focused on politics, history, and the nation’s path forward as the United States approaches its 250th birthday.

Nearly 2,000 people gathered to hear Baier share insights drawn from his career as a journalist and author, including his experiences covering major world events and interviewing global leaders across the political spectrum.

Desert Town Hall is a nationally recognized speaker series that also features a Youth Town Hall program. Ahead of Baier’s main presentation, local students attended a special session designed to spark civic engagement and interest in current affairs.

One student shared that hearing from Baier was inspiring, noting his background as a journalist who has interviewed leaders from different political perspectives. The student added that the experience was especially meaningful as he's recently become more interested in politics and national issues.

Organizers say the Youth Town Hall program is an important part of the series, giving young people the opportunity to connect directly with influential voices and learn more about the world beyond the classroom.

The Desert Town Hall lineup continues with photographer Platon scheduled to appear on March 3. Later this month, political commentators Ben Shapiro and Van Jones are set to share the stage together on March 26.

Desert Town Hall events bring nationally recognized speakers to the Coachella Valley, offering the community opportunities for thoughtful conversation and diverse perspectives.
