Jerry's SoCal Weather Briefing on Tuesday, February 3, 2026!

The Coachella Valley will experience its warmest weather today and tomorrow as our midday high temperatures heat-up into the middle-to-upper 80s both afternoons under lots of sunshine. (Palm Springs normal peak temp in early-February is 72°.)

Next, an upper-level low pressure center -- which will be located off of the coast of San Diego County -- will pull-up lots of middle-and-upper level moisture over Southern California on Thursday and Friday. Because surface moisture will remain dry, all we will experience here in the Valley will be cloudy skies and slightly lower temps in the upper-70s.

Sunshine returns to the Valley for both Saturday and Sunday with above-normal highs in the lower-80s.

There are a couple of computer models which suggest a disturbance will trigger scattered showers over the Southwest and noticeably cooler temperatures during the middle of next week. Stay tuned!
