'Michael' Trailer Debuts, Chastain Takes On #MeToo Drama, 'Stranger Things' Goes Animated

The official trailer for "Michael," the long-awaited biopic about Michael Jackson, arrived this week.

Jaafar Jackson, the pop icon's nephew, plays the title role, with two-time Oscar nominee Colman Domingo portraying patriarch Joe Jackson. The film traces the life and career of the legendary performer. "Michael" hits theaters April 24.

Separately, Variety reports that Oscar winner Jessica Chastain will star in "This Is Pleasure," a drama exploring #MeToo territory. Chastain plays a woman whose closest friend, portrayed by Chris Pine, faces accusations of misconduct. The film is based on an acclaimed novella by author Mary Gaitskill.

And Netflix dropped a teaser for "Stranger Things: Tales from 85," an animated series set between seasons two and three of the live-action show. The spinoff uses an 80s animation style and follows the Hawkins kids as they encounter a mysterious new threat. It debuts April 23 on Netflix.
