New GForce Gymnastics and Parkour Facility in La Quinta Gives Coachella Valley Kids a Safe Place to Train Like Olympians

As the 2026 Winter Olympics get underway this week, young athletes in the Coachella Valley are channeling that excitement into their own training.

A new facility, GForce Gymnastics and Parkour, has opened its doors in La Quinta, giving kids a safe, structured space to explore movement, strength, and speed through gymnastics and parkour.

Parkour focuses on rapidly moving through an environment using running, jumping, climbing, and landing techniques while navigating obstacles. Coaches at GForce say the sport helps children build agility, coordination, and confidence.

All instructors at the facility are certified through USA Gymnastics and undergo extensive training. Staff members emphasize their commitment to creating a positive environment where kids can improve physically while developing discipline and self-belief.

Parents and students alike are drawn to the program for its hands-on coaching and focus on safe progression. The facility offers structured classes designed to help young athletes test their limits while learning proper technique.

GForce originally launched in Murrieta, and the La Quinta location marks the company’s second facility. Owners say expanding into the Coachella Valley was a natural step, driven by growing interest in alternative youth sports and movement-based training.

With Olympic athletes taking center stage on the world’s biggest platform, local kids now have their own place to practice, grow, and dream big—right here in the desert.
