New Palm Springs Exhibit “Portraits of Her” Celebrates Influential Local Women Through Art and Storytelling

Palm Springs is known for its vibrant and diverse art scene — and now a new exhibit is celebrating the women behind that creativity.

“Portraits of Her,” currently on display at Cicada Fine Arts Studio, showcases powerful portraits and personal stories of influential women from across the Valley. The collection highlights a wide range of community members, from business owners to bankers, honoring their impact and resilience.

The exhibit was created by Olga, a local photographer who says her goal was to show how women inspire others and bring beauty into the world. Through candid expressions and heartfelt stories, she hopes visitors walk away with a deeper appreciation for the women around them.

Several of the women featured say being included in the exhibit is deeply meaningful, calling the experience rewarding and empowering. Many shared that simply being seen and celebrated in this way feels special.

Visitors are already describing the exhibit as inspirational, saying it adds to Palm Springs’ creative energy while shining a light on women who are often working behind the scenes to strengthen the community.

The show also reflects the broader artistic spirit of Palm Springs, where sculptures, performance art, architecture, and galleries continue to shape the city’s cultural identity.

NBC Palm Springs reporter Kai Beach shared the story, encouraging residents to stop by the gallery and learn more about the women helping shape the future of the Valley.

“Portraits of Her” is open to the public at Cicada Fine Arts Studio in downtown Palm Springs.
