Desi Strong Run/Walk 4 Kids Returns to Rancho Mirage Feb. 28

The Desi Strong Foundation's 8th annual Run/Walk 4 Kids is set for Saturday, Feb. 28 at Rancho Mirage Community Park, bringing together families for a morning of activities while raising funds for children battling pediatric cancer.

The event runs from 8 a.m. to noon at the park off San Jacinto Drive. Admission to the festival area is free, with organizers asking for a minimal donation to participate in the 5K. A family bubble run follows the race.

The morning will also feature vendors, a food court, and a kids zone. The event is family and pet-friendly.

Participants can sign up as individual runners, create a team for free, or join an existing team with a small donation. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

The Desi Strong Foundation is a nonprofit that provides assistance to local families fighting pediatric cancer and donates funds to pediatric cancer research.
