Low-Cost Spay and Neuter Services Expanding in East Valley Through Mobile Clinics
Pet owners in the East Valley will soon have greater access to affordable spay and neuter services through new mobile clinics provided by the Riverside County Department of Animal Services.
The county says the mobile units will bring critical veterinary services directly into local communities, making it easier for residents to care for their pets and prevent unwanted litters. The goal is to reduce shelter intake and address ongoing concerns about pet overpopulation.
Officials say the surgeries will be offered in select areas across the region, including parts of the Coachella Valley. While the program is expected to begin soon, specific dates and locations have not yet been announced.
Animal services leaders say expanding access to low-cost procedures is an important step in promoting responsible pet ownership and improving animal welfare throughout the county.
Pet overpopulation has long been a challenge in some East Valley communities, putting strain on shelters and rescue organizations. County officials hope the mobile clinics will help ease that burden and improve outcomes for animals in need.
Residents are encouraged to watch for upcoming announcements from Riverside County Animal Services regarding scheduling and availability.
