Dish Detective Reveals bb.q Chicken Palm Desert as This Week’s Winning Restaurant

It was another delicious round of Dish Detective, NBC Palm Springs’ Instagram food contest in partnership with Dining with the Davids — and once again, viewers were up for the challenge.

This week’s clues had Valley food lovers guessing right up until the deadline.

First up was a pile of crispy fries dusted in a savory, slightly sweet cheesy seasoning, finished with a glossy drizzle of sauce that tied everything together.

Next came a Korean favorite with a little heat — galbi chicken, juicy and coated in a sweet, savory, lightly smoky marinade, topped with green onions and black sesame seeds for that classic crunch.

The final clue featured a creamy, less spicy take on the iconic rice cake dish, rich and smooth with just enough warmth to keep things interesting.

All signs pointed to one spot.

The restaurant of the week was bb.q Chicken — and congratulations to everyone who guessed it correctly.

Out of all the entries, one winner was selected.
