Jerry's SoCal Weather Briefing on Saturday, February 7, 2026!

The weather conditions for the Coachella Valley will definitely be poolable both days this weekend!

You can expect clear skies today and tomorrow with low relative humidity and above-normal high temperatures in the middle-80s both afternoons.

Although lots of fair-weather cirrus clouds will begin to thicken above 20,000-feet on Monday, Valley high temperatures will once again reach the middle-80s.

We will be tracking a couple of short-waves as they swing through the Southwest next week. The first will trigger some Southern California precipitation between late-Tuesday into early-Wednesday while the second will have better coverage late-Thursday into early-Friday.

As of this morning, the Coachella Valley will not pick-up any measurable precipitation next week, although a few sprinkles are a possibility with wave #2.

A couple of frontal boundaries may drop higher rain totals over the Southwest just after Valentine's Day. Stay tuned!
