Desert Hot Springs Breaks Ground on New Eagles Sports Park

Desert Hot Springs is opening a new chapter for youth sports with the groundbreaking of the Eagles Sports Park. City officials, local leaders, and families gathered Saturday morning at the intersection of Hacienda Avenue and Cholla Drive to celebrate the start of construction.

The new park will serve as the permanent home for the city’s youth football and cheerleading programs, as well as the senior baseball league for players ages 13 and older. Young athletes were on hand for the ceremony, showing the strong community support and excitement surrounding the project.

Once completed, Eagles Sports Park will provide dedicated facilities for both programs, giving local athletes a consistent place to train, compete, and grow.

City leaders say the project represents a major investment in youth recreation and the future of Desert Hot Springs.
