Jerry's SoCal Briefing on Monday, February 9, 2026!
The Coachella Valley will experience another very warm and dry afternoon today with thickening fair-weather cirrus clouds and highs in the middle-80s.
As a disturbance approaches the Coast on Tuesday, clouds will thicken over the Valley, subtracting about ten-degrees from Monday's highs.
As this system moves through the Southwest on Wednesday, scattered showers are expected over the Southland. While most of this precipitation is forecast to fall over area mountains and to our West, the Valley just may see a couple of very light showers.
Also on Wednesday, on-shore winds will become a bit gusty at times while clouds will play a role in cooling our midday temps into the upper-60s/lower-70s.
As this Low exits to the East, Valley skies will begin to clear while temps rebound into the middle-70s.
