Pedestrian Critically Injured in Palm Desert Collision

A pedestrian remains in critical condition following a vehicle collision Friday morning in Palm Desert.

Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies responded around 9:45 a.m. to reports of a crash near the intersection of El Paseo and Ocotillo Drive. When deputies arrived, they found a pedestrian suffering from major injuries.

The victim, whose identity has not been released, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities say the driver involved remained at the scene, and no arrests have been made at this time.

Investigators have not yet released details regarding the circumstances leading up to the collision. The investigation remains ongoing.
