Air Supply Returns to Coachella Valley to Celebrate 50 Years of Love Songs
One of the most recognizable romantic bands of all time is returning to the desert just in time for Valentine’s Day weekend. Air Supply will take the stage at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa as part of its worldwide 50-year anniversary tour, marking five decades of chart-topping love songs and devoted fans across the globe.
Founding member Graham Russell says performing in the Coachella Valley has become a tradition for the group, especially around Valentine’s Day. The band has built a reputation for heartfelt ballads that have made their concerts a popular date-night destination for generations of listeners.
Russell and lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock first met while performing in the musical “Jesus Christ Superstar” and quickly formed both a friendship and musical partnership. With Russell writing songs and Hitchcock focusing on vocals, the duo found a creative balance that helped define their signature sound.
Over the years, Air Supply has released numerous hits and performed nearly 6,000 live shows worldwide. Russell says the band’s success has always felt organic, with no grand plan beyond making music they love and connecting with audiences.
Fans can catch Air Supply live Saturday night at Agua Caliente, where the duo promises an evening filled with classics and a celebration of their enduring legacy.
