Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival Returns to Indio on Thursday

The highly anticipated Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival returns to Indio beginning tomorrow, bringing days of food, fun, and family entertainment through March 1.

Presented by Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, the annual event features carnival rides, live music, animal exhibits, sea lion and stunt dog shows, and a variety of attractions all included with general admission.

Organizers say ride enthusiasts can purchase individual tickets, but unlimited ride wristbands offer the best value for those planning to enjoy multiple attractions. Discounted wristbands are available ahead of opening day.

Of course, no fair would be complete without its signature food — and this year’s lineup includes a fan-favorite date beer-battered corn dog, featuring chopped dates mixed right into the batter for a sweet twist on a classic.

NBC Palm Springs Day at the fair is set for this Friday. Organizers encourage families, friends, and date lovers alike to come out and enjoy everything the festival has to offer.
