Palm Springs to Host 39th Annual Black History Parade & Town Fair

The City of Palm Springs is preparing to celebrate culture, history, and unity at the 39th Annual Black History Parade and Town Fair on February 28.

The event is presented in partnership with the Palm Springs Black History Committee and brings together residents and visitors to honor Black history and achievements while promoting community connection.

Serving as this year’s Grand Marshal is Ron Oden, who made history as Palm Springs’ first African American mayor.

The parade steps off at 11 a.m., with the Town Fair immediately following at Downtown Park. Organizers say the annual celebration continues to highlight the importance of unity and reflection during Black History Month.
