Weather
An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Friday, Friday the 13th, 2026!
The Coachella Valley will see mostly sunny skies this afternoon with dry air and high temperatures in the upper-70s/lower-80s. About the same for Valentine's Day/Saturday, but with a few fair-weather, upper-level high clouds.
Those high clouds thicken on Sunday and will come with high temps in the middle-70s.
The first of two disturbances will move though the Southwest early next week bringing widespread rain to Southern California. As of today, it looks like the best shot of seeing rain in the Coachella Valley-area will be late-Monday into early-Tuesday. A second system will drop some precipitation on Wednesday.
The snow level in the San Jacinto Mountains will slip from 7000-feet late on Monday to 4700-feet by early Wednesday morning. The Tram could pick-up over a half-foot of snow by Thursday morning. Idyllwild will experience rain changing to flurries.
There will be adjustments to this forecast... stay tuned!
