Fido Friday: Meet Jimmy!

A community-initiated program called FIDO is connecting local residents with shelter dogs in need of temporary companionship and exposure to potential adopters.

The program allows volunteers to take dogs from the shelter for day-long outings. The initiative helps decompress animals living in shelter environments, increases their visibility to prospective adopters, and provides community members with canine companionship for the day.

This week, community contributor Jen Agnew featured Jimmy, a dog currently available for adoption through the Coachella Valley Animal Campus. Jimmy's identification number is A-1873431.
