NBC Night at the Riverside County Fair
The Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival is back in the Coachella Valley, bringing outdoor fun, classic date shakes, and a special Valentine's event to the desert every weekend through March 1st.
The fair runs Thursdays through Sundays — plus Presidents Day. Guests can catch community performances on the historic Arabian Nights Stage, the traditional Date Pageant, and all the carnival favorites.
Tickets start at $12 for adults and $10 for children. Hours vary by day, so check the fair's website before heading out.
NBC Palm Springs Live at the Fair
Our news team will be at the fairgrounds starting at 3 p.m. on Friday. Weatherman Pablo Alsino and Anchor Olivia Sandsuky will broadcast live during the 5 and 6 o'clock newscasts — so stop by and say hello.
Looking for Love? There's an Event for That
For singles looking to celebrate Valentine's Day weekend, the fair is hosting "Love on the Wheel" this afternoon from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Digital reporter Thalia Hayden will be covering the matchmaking event, which pairs a sunset Ferris wheel ride with drinks and mingling at the Oasis Lounge & Tiki Bar.
The $35 ticket includes fair admission, a date shake, matchmaking, a souvenir photo, and a post-ride mixer.
