Salton City Man Arrested on Murder Charge Linked to Missing Teen Case

A 51-year-old man was taken into custody Friday morning after authorities served a search warrant at a residence in Salton City, according to the Imperial County Sheriff's Office.
At approximately 7:30 a.m. on February 13, members of the Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team, working in collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, executed a search warrant at a home located in the 2800 block of Harlequin Court in Salton City.
During the operation, deputies made contact at the residence when a male subject — later identified as Abraham Feinbloom — was seen jumping over a fence in what authorities described as an apparent attempt to evade law enforcement.
Feinbloom was immediately apprehended by officers at the scene and taken into custody without further incident. He was subsequently turned over to FBI agents for questioning while investigators processed the residence for evidence.
Following the investigation, Feinbloom was arrested and booked into the Imperial County Jail on charges of murder and resisting a peace officer.
Authorities confirmed that Feinbloom is being held without bail.
This new development comes after the FBI and Imperial County Sheriff officials searched Feinbloom's residence multiple times in recent weeks -- most recently on Friday Feb. 13th -- in relation with the disappearance of 17 year old T'Neya Tovar.
According to family members, Tovar's last known appearance was at Feinbloom's residence, and his name also appeared on the flyer Tovar's family made when the teen was reported missing on Dec. 1st.
On Thursday, Imperial County Sheriff's department confirmed that some of Tovar's remains were found near the Vista Del Mar community -about a a half mile from Feinbloom's residence.
The Imperial County Sheriff's department extended their condolences to the Tovar family and confirm the investigation is ongoing.
