An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Sunday, February 15, 2026!

Today, the Coachella Valley will enjoy sunshine through sheets of fair-weather high clouds with slightly above-normal high temperatures in the middle-70s.

Three disturbances will move through the Southwest this week triggering wet weather, mountain snow and strong, gusty winds all beginning tomorrow.

As far as the Coachella Valley is concerned, the first system will drop rain between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. It looks like the second chance of precipitation here will occur Wednesday morning, followed by scattered showers Thursday night.

The heaviest rain will fall over LA County and points Northward where a Flood Advisory has been posted for Monday.

On-shore winds will also be an issue. Westerly winds will begin to pick-up this evening into Monday morning, then again early on Thursday.

Although the Coachella Valley is not under a Wind Advisory, one has been posted for areas around the Valley between Monday 10a and Tuesday 1a.

Snow levels will drop throughout the day beginning tomorrow. In fact, a Winter Storm Warning has been posted for area mountains from Monday 10a through Thursday 9a. The Tram could see up to a foot of new snow by the end of the week.

I'll have lots of info to share with you on Monday morning. Stay tuned!
