Angel Light Academy launches 28th year of junior leadership programs with new life skills training

Angel Light Academy is celebrating the launch of its 28th year of junior leadership training programs, continuing its mission of mentoring local youth and encouraging community service across the Coachella Valley.

The organization provides young participants with opportunities to develop leadership skills while giving back to their communities. This year, Angel Light Academy is also introducing a new Life Skills program designed to support personal growth and mental well-being.

The program focuses on communication, emotional regulation, and problem-solving — essential tools that help young people navigate challenges, build resilience, and strengthen relationships.

As part of the celebration, many junior leaders were honored with Angel on Earth Volunteer Service Award pins. The recognition highlights the community service hours they completed throughout 2025 and acknowledges their ongoing commitment to helping others.

In keeping with the spirit of service, Angel Light Academy also kicked off 2026 with a special community project centered on kindness and compassion.

Participants created “Letters of Love” — handmade Valentine’s Day cards that will be delivered to patients at several children’s hospitals. Organizers say the project is meant to bring comfort, encouragement, and a sense of connection to young patients during their hospital stays.

Through leadership development, life skills training, and service projects like these, Angel Light Academy continues to empower local youth while making a meaningful impact across the Coachella Valley.
