An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Monday, February 16, 2026!

The Coachella Valley will see thickening clouds this morning ahead of a disturbance which will bring rain to the Coachella Valley between this afternoon and Tuesday morning.

A second system will provide scattered showers on Wednesday followed by a third system with lighter totals on Thursday.

On-shore winds will be an issue this afternoon through tomorrow morning, while the strongest Westerly winds will occur Tuesday evening into Wednesday afternoon. A Wind Advisory has been posted for the very West end of the Coachella Valley through the San Gorgonio Pass, Inland Empire, High Desert and area mountains through Wednesday.

All three disturbances will produce lots of snow through Thursday. In fact, The Tram could see well over a foot of snow by mid-week. A Winter Storm Warning has been posted for area mountains through Wednesday at noon.

Skies will begin to clear for your Friday with highs in the middle-60s, mostly sunny and upper-60s/lower-70s on Saturday.
