Indio President’s Day Parade Marches Through Fairgrounds

The City of Indio’s President’s Day Parade stepped off at 9 a.m. as part of the annual Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival.

The parade began at Highway 111 and Arabia Street near the fairgrounds, drawing families and visitors for a morning of community celebration.

Serving as this year’s Grand Marshals were professional boxers Grant Flores and Manny "Gucci" Flores, both natives of Coachella.

Local high school bands also brought energy to the route, showcasing school spirit as they marched through the streets.

The fair, now in its 78th year, continues every weekend through March 1st, offering rides, entertainment, food, and community events at the fairgrounds.
