Rally for America Protest Held Outside Rancho Mirage City Hall

A number of local residents gathered Saturday morning outside Rancho Mirage City Hall as part of a “Rally for America” event.

The rally was organized by Democrats of the Desert and Indivisible Coachella Valley. Protesters lined the sidewalk along Highway 111 beginning at 9 a.m., holding signs and waving to passing drivers. The event wrapped up around 10 a.m.

Organizers say the demonstration was aimed at calling for an end to what they describe as harmful immigration enforcement activity across the Coachella Valley. Participants emphasized the importance of making their voices heard and showing support for families they believe are being impacted.

The event remained peaceful, with demonstrators gathered along the sidewalk throughout the morning.
