An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Wednesday, February 18, 2026!

After a few light showers this morning, those Coachella Valley clouds will begin to clear this afternoon with highs in the middle-60s.

The next chance of seeing Valley showers will occur on Thursday afternoon and evening as another low pressure center moves through the Southwest.

The Wind Advisory for the Coachella Valley is set to expires this afternoon, but it will most likely be reinstated for Thursday as another disturbance approaches the area.

Also, that Winter Storm Warning for area mountains has been extended through Thursday evening. You may experience flurries at Idyllwild while The Tram could see an additional 10-inches of snow by Friday morning.

Although skies clear and our air dries-out on Friday, Valley highs will remain cool.

Valley temps will warm into the 70s on Sunday, around 80° by Monday and Tuesday.
