Weather Impacting Palm Springs Police Phone Lines

The Palm Springs Police Department says weather conditions are impacting its phone lines.

As a result, 911 calls are being temporarily rerouted to the Cathedral City Police Department to ensure emergency calls are answered without interruption.

Non-emergency lines remain operational, but callers may experience delays or missed calls due to ongoing connectivity issues. Officials say personnel are working to restore full service as quickly as possible.

Anyone experiencing a life-threatening emergency should continue to dial 911. For non-emergencies, callers are asked to be patient and try again if they are unable to get through.
