Big Bear Mountain Resort Welcomes Winter Games Visitors with Fresh Snow, Sunshine, and Olympic Watch Parties
With fresh snow on the ground and sunny skies overhead, Big Bear Mountain Resort is inviting visitors to take advantage of prime winter conditions as Winter Games celebrations continue across the mountain.
Resort officials say the combination of great weather and strong snow coverage makes this one of the best times to visit. Organizers are hosting a wide range of activities over the next several weeks, including Olympic watch parties, food and drink specials, concerts, and special events throughout the resort.
Visitors don’t even have to hit the slopes to join the fun. Officials say guests can simply come up to enjoy the atmosphere, gather with other fans, and watch major Winter Games events from viewing areas across the resort.
Big Bear Mountain Resort also carries a strong Olympic legacy. Gold medal snowboarders and skiers have trained and competed on these slopes, adding to the destination’s reputation as a premier winter sports location.
Despite a relatively dry winter across much of the West, resort teams have worked to maintain excellent snow coverage using advanced snowmaking systems. Officials report solid base depths across open trails, with additional terrain expected to open as conditions allow.
Guests can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, tubing, lessons, rentals, and snow play areas, along with restaurants, viewing decks, and gathering spaces for those who prefer a more relaxed visit.
Resort leaders encourage visitors to check road conditions before heading up the mountain — but once there, they say there’s plenty to enjoy both on and off the snow.
