Vista Chino, North Gene Autry Trail Reopen; North Indian Canyon Drive Still Closed

The City of Palm Springs announced that Vista Chino, from Clubhouse View Drive through the wash, has reopened just before 8am on Thursday, Feb. 19th morning following a flooding-related closure.

The city also announced that North Gene Autry Trail has opened as of 9:30am following a closure there.

North Indian Canyon Drive is still closed as of Thursday morning. The closure has been in effect since Wednesday afternoon.

The storm that moved through the area early Wednesday morning brought rain and strong winds through Palm Springs, and other parts of the Valley.

NBC Palm Springs Meteorologist Jerry Steffen says another round of rain could arrive Friday.
