Palm Desert Woman Killed in Rancho Mirage Crash

A 62-year-old woman from Palm Desert was killed in a crash Tuesday night in Rancho Mirage.

Authorities say Alicia Miller was in the area of Frank Sinatra Drive and California State Route 111 just before 10 p.m. when the incident was reported.

Deputies responded to the scene and found Miller suffering from significant injuries. Paramedics later pronounced her dead at the scene.

The driver involved has not been publicly identified, and it is unclear whether that person sustained any injuries. Investigators say drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.

The investigation remains ongoing.
