Son of Late Director Rob Reiner Expected in Court Monday for Double Murder Charges

Nick Reiner, the 32-year-old son of late movie director Rob Reiner, is expected to appear in court Monday for a second arraignment hearing on charges that he fatally stabbed both his parents late last year.

Prosecutors say Nick Reiner killed Rob and Michele Reiner in their Los Angeles home. He's been in custody since the alleged killings.

Reiner could face life in prison or the death penalty if convicted, though prosecutors haven't said yet if they'll seek capital punishment.

He did not enter a plea at his initial arraignment because his former attorney withdrew from the case. Reiner is now being represented by the LA County Public Defender's Office.
