Savannah Guthrie Offers $1 Million Reward as Search for Missing Mother Nancy Guthrie Enters Fourth Week
The search for Nancy Guthrie is intensifying as the investigation enters its fourth week, with her family now offering a $1 million reward for information leading to her recovery.
Nancy Guthrie, the mother of Today show co-host Savannah Guthrie, disappeared from her Tucson-area home on February 1. The family announced the new reward in a social media message, calling for continued prayers and support as the search continues.
The FBI is also offering a separate $100,000 reward. Together, the incentives are meant to encourage anyone with information to come forward.
Savannah Guthrie described the emotional toll of the disappearance, saying every moment since her mother vanished has been agonizing. While the family continues to hope for her safe return, they have also acknowledged the painful possibility that she may no longer be alive. Regardless, they say they want answers and want Nancy Guthrie brought home.
Investigators are continuing to examine surveillance footage from outside her home. Law enforcement sources say one previously released image believed to be from the day she disappeared may actually be from an earlier date. The image shows a masked individual near the home, raising new questions about whether someone may have approached the property more than once.
However, officials in Pima County say it remains unclear whether the images are from different dates, and they caution that some details remain unconfirmed as the investigation continues.
In addition to the reward, the Guthrie family says it will donate $500,000 to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
