Traffic Signal Goes to Red Flash Mode at East Palm Canyon and Sunrise Way for Road Work

The traffic signal at East Palm Canyon Drive and Sunrise Way will switch to red flash mode starting at 7 a.m. Wednesday for asphalt restoration work.

Construction crews will be working on Sunrise Way along the south side of East Palm Canyon Drive. Traffic control will be on site, and the city says at least one lane will stay open in all directions throughout the day.

The work is expected to last one day, though the city says it will post an update if construction continues beyond Wednesday.

The city is advising drivers to use alternate routes to avoid delays and backups near the intersection.
