Palm Springs International Airport Seeking Local Artists for Large-Scale Installations

Palm Springs International Airport is calling on artists to help bring more Palm Springs flair to its walls.

The airport is seeking visual artists with experience creating large-scale concepts, including digital installations. Organizers are looking for creatives who can take an idea from sketch to finished project and incorporate a distinct Palm Springs style into their work.

Applicants should have experience producing wall-scale artwork and a strong portfolio of completed projects. Two commissions are available, one scheduled for this year and another for next year.

Artists interested in applying can find more information and submit materials through the airport’s website by the March 11 deadline. While all themes are encouraged, organizers say the overall vibe should reflect the spirit and style of Palm Springs.
