An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Sunday, March 1, 2026!

The Coachella Valley will experience very warm, above-normal high weather again today as peak temperatures reside in the middle-90s.

As a trough of low pressure approaches us on Monday, on-shore winds will become stronger, especially through the San Gorgonio Pass and Desert Hot Springs areas. Still, those wind-prone areas of the Valley will also experience occasionally gusty winds.

This frontal boundary will not provide any precipitation, by it will play a role in chipping-away at those midday temps. The Coachella Valley will experience highs in the upper-80s on Monday, middle-80s on Tuesday.
