Paramount Plus and HBO Max Will Merge Into Single Streaming Service

Paramount Plus and HBO Max will become one streaming platform following Paramount's merger with Warner Brothers Discovery.

Paramount CEO David Ellison announced the plan during an investor call Monday, though he didn't reveal what the combined service would be called or how much it would cost. The combination will happen "over the coming years," Ellison said.

The merger between the two entertainment giants still needs approval from federal regulators—a process that will take at least several months.
