As a frontal boundary moves through the Southwest, on-shore winds will strengthen this evening which will be followed by stronger Santa Ana winds tomorrow.

A Wind Advisory has been posted for the West end of the Coachella Valley, San Gorgonio Pass, High Desert, Eastern Riverside County and area mountains this evening through Thursday.

Keep in mind, even stronger Northeasterly winds are forecast for Saturday.

The Coachella Valley will see plenty of sunshine today with another afternoon of above-normal high temperatures in the upper-80s with low relative humidity.

After that wind-shift, Valley high temps slip into the upper-70s/lower-80s on Thursday with single-digit relative humidity. Although there are no Red Flag Warnings in our area, the Fire Danger remains elevated through Saturday.

Following a sunny Friday afternoon, a closed-low with provide clouds this weekend with another round on near-normal numbers in the upper-70s.
