Main Draw Matches Begin at BNP Paribas Open
Main draw action is officially underway at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells.
After qualifying rounds wrapped up yesterday, fans packed the grounds at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden to catch the opening round of tournament play. Even without some of the sport’s biggest names on court yet, spectators filled the stadium and practice courts early, soaking up the sunshine and the electric atmosphere known as “Tennis Paradise.”
Many attendees say one of their favorite parts of the tournament is access to the practice courts, where they can watch some of the world’s top players warm up, stretch, and fine-tune their game. For young tennis players in particular, seeing those routines up close offers valuable insight into preparation and technique.
Beyond the matches, fans continue to enjoy the tournament’s food options and interactive fan experiences, making the BNP Paribas Open one of the premier stops on the tennis calendar.
