“Red List” Dog Olive Adopted from Coachella Valley Animal Campus
After NBC Palm Springs shared Olive’s story on social media, the two-year-old German shepherd from the Coachella Valley Animal Campus has officially been adopted.
Olive had been placed on the shelter’s red list, meaning she was at risk of euthanasia. Shelter staff say she was experiencing kennel stress, a common condition for dogs spending extended time in a shelter environment.
Olive is heading to her new home and it's a positive ending for a pup who needed a second chance.
