Pet of the Week: Meet Rocko!

Veronica Perez from Riverside County Animal Services stopped by NBC Palm Springs with one very handsome boy, meet Rocko, a one-year-old Siberian Husky mix who is equal parts fluffy and loveable. At 61 lbs, this big-hearted pup came in as a stray in early February and has been charming everyone at the Coachella Valley Animal Campus ever since. Rocko is calm, incredibly affectionate, and, we can confirm, possibly the softest dog on the planet.

Want to see if he's the one? Check out Riverside County's Fido Field Trip / Doggy Day Out program, where you can take Rocko (or any shelter dog) out for a hike, a shopping trip, or just a walk. Dogs who go on outings are five times more likely to get adopted!
