State Department: More Than 10,000 Americans Helped Out of the Middle East

The State Department says it has helped more than 10,000 Americans stuck in the Middle East following U.S. strikes against Iran over the weekend, providing security guidance and travel assistance to get people home.

Nearly 20,000 Americans have returned to the United States since the strikes began, though that number doesn't include people who safely relocated to other countries or are still making their way back.

Americans remaining in Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Israel are urged to contact the State Department through mytravel.state.gov to register their location and receive assistance.
